Meet Pammie Mills

Philanthropist, Author, and Pet Advocate

After more than three decades as a certified homeopathic physician, sports medicine and rehabilitation physician, Pamela Mills has turned her knowledge to her other calling in life, as an author and philanthropist.

Dr. Mills, a retired certified homeopathic physician, sports medicine, and rehabilitation physician working in both Canada and the United Kingdom throughout her career.

 

For many years Dr. Mills worked as an expert in the holistic and medical field with a focus on care of lower limb pathology, pediatric lower limb pathology, homeopathic practice, and laser therapy. Aside from her successful medical career, her other calling in life is philanthropy. She has been instrumental in many charitable causes and is a key player in starting up an orphanage for HIV-positive babies in South Africa. She was also on board of SAVE Homeless Animals and on various esophageal cancer foundations, of which she performed in honor of her mother who passed away from this devastating disease.

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Mills medical career began when received her medical degree from Queen Margaret University, Department of Podiatric Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1993. She continued her studies at the Aberdeen Royal infirmary, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh Infirmary and the Royal Homeopathic Hospital in London, UK. She was also a regularly featured columnist at Health Magazine based out of Canada.

She has been instrumental in many charitable causes and is a key player in starting up an orphanage for HIV-positive babies in South Africa. She was also on the board of “SAVE” a homeless animal charity.

“Many years ago, my husband purchased a house for ‘Save A Friend’ for homeless animals. I have added to this with “Save A Dog, Save A Life.” This comes from my heart and passion regarding saving animals,” Mills said. “I am hoping with bigger hearts I can do bigger things. I know first-hand the lives that are saved daily from a beloved pet, but it all takes money even a small amount.”

Mills has also published her first book, “At Home In Princeton: Entertaining With Four Paws,” which is a wonderful entertainers guide with colorfully themed parties and elegant recipes for your two and four-legged friends.

 “They are my inspiration to keep going in my efforts to honor not only their existence and importance, but also each and every dog that lives and breathes this special life,” Mills explained. “My mission is Save A Dog, Save A LIFE.”

An accomplished author, Mills has also published a comparison between the before and after advances of medical technologies in each respective field. Mills credits her success to the teachings of her father who has constantly encouraged her to always do her best, irrespective of the circumstances.
