Save a Dog, Save a Life

My Mission to Save Animals

Philanthropy

Pammie Mills has been instrumental in many charitable causes.

“Many years ago, my husband purchased a house for ‘Save A Friend’ for homeless animals. I have added to this with “Save A Dog, Save A Life.”

This comes from my heart and passion regarding saving animals,” Mills said. “I am hoping with bigger hearts I can do bigger things. I know first-hand the lives that are saved daily from a beloved pet, but it all takes money even a small amount.”

“They are my inspiration to keep going in my efforts to honor not only their existence and importance, but also each and every dog that lives and breathes this special life,” Mills explained. “My mission is Save A Dog, Save A LIFE.”

Among her other charitable contributions, Pamela Mills is a key player in starting up an orphanage for HIV-positive babies in South Africa.  She was also on the board of “SAVE” a homeless animal charity.

Save a Dog, Save a Life

Man/Woman's Best Friends
Need You Too

Save a Dog, Save a Life aims to highlight the importance of healing and animals.

Imagine being hospitalized. You've made all the arrangements for someone to care for your dog during your stay. But who could ever take your place, show your love and adoration for your

fur baby the way you do?

It's a tough question and usually the answer leaves us feeling lost and helpless.

Now imagine your beloved pet could visit you in the hospital. How therapeutic that would be for both you and your pet! This is one of the missions Pamela AM Mills has been putting forth in a collaboration with hospital executives; and just one of the bills, S.A.D.S.A.L. is trying to instill in hospitals across the nation.

SAVE - A Friend to
Homeless Animals

'The Journey to a Forever Home
Starts with YOU!'

Since 1941, SAVE has been rescuing and sheltering abandoned, abused, and homeless dogs and cats in the greater Princeton area. The organization provides life-saving medical treatment, food, enrichment, and love to hundreds of animals every year.

Please consider the many benefits of adopting a cat or dog from SAVE. You can save the life of a homeless animal and enrich your life as well. By welcoming a homeless pet into your family, you will experience the special reward of saving a shelter animal and gaining the unconditional love of a new forever friend.

Their bright and modern shelter welcomes visitors to meet animals currently available for adoption, volunteer, or attend one of the informative lectures in our community room.

SAVE is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) animal shelter and does not receive funding at the local, state, or federal levels.  Please tour their website and visit SAVE to learn more about the many ways you can support the shelter and help homeless animals.
